Band of York

bios

BAND OF YORK formed in the summer of 2005 after singer Billy Jean met drummer Natalie Paige in a café in NYC's Lower East Side. Two years of dive bars & a disappearing guitarist fueled their search for success.

Working with many talented musician friends led to the creation of their EP Don't Let Me Die. All songs were recorded with producer Ian Love (Rival Schools, Cardia, Earl Greyhound) in the spring of 2007. With the absence of a permanent guitarist & bassist, Band Of York relied on Diego Galindo to play guitars and Ian Love to play bass on the recordings.

You'll find diverse influences lingering among the chords of this EP, as well as the impulse to move your feet!

With brilliant material in their pocket, Billy & Natalie set out to capture a talented & dedicated guitarist as the third member. Finding a perfect fit in guitarist Michael Palumbo became the completion of Band Of York.

Check out their wild, energy-filled shows for amazing new material!
